Snapdocs, a mortgage industry’s leading digital closing platform powering millions of closings per year, welcomes Scott Kubic as Head of Talent Acquisition. Snapdocs partnered with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
In his role, Kubic will focus on driving the company’s recruiting strategy forward, setting and operationalizing the vision for the talent team, and enabling hiring teams to be successful. He will bring proven methods and solutions to improve the way the team works, help fine-tune the growth strategy for Snapdocs, implement scalable programs, develop rigorous metrics and measurement models, and deliver operational improvements. Kubic will report to the company’s Vice President (VP) of People, Chad Herring.
Kubic joins Snapdocs from Zymergen, where he served as Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition. At Zymergen, he led a team of 13 employees to meet their headcount demand and developed scalable, global strategies that aligned with Zymergen’s hyper-growth business plans. Kubic also implemented a technology stack to enable the team to be efficient and productive, capture relevant analytics and focus on the candidate experience. Prior to Zymergen, Kubic worked at Amazon for almost three years as a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. There, he led a team focused on hiring senior engineering, sales and marketing talent. Kubic’s earlier positions include Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition at Gitlab Inc., Co-Founder and Executive VP at Novitas Analytics and VP of Talent at IBM Global Business Services. Kubic holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Strategy from State University of New York College at Oswego.
