Mission-based Organizations

What makes mission-based organizations unique, and attractive to those who work there? The passion, focus and sense of purpose that drive and motivate their founders, executives and staff. These organizations play a vital role in solving issues in the world and in a community – addressing problems such as hunger, systemic racism and global warming. Our nonprofit executive search services help mission-based organizations gain access to top HR executive talent and strategy that align with what’s important to the firm and its team.

Mission-based firms include philanthropic foundations, not-for-profits, hospitals, schools and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Not-for-profits, a fast-growing sector, in 2019 became the third-largest employer in the U.S., representing more than 10 percent of U.S. jobs. Like all organizations, mission-based firms need superior leadership to attract skilled talent and keep it.

Our nonprofit executive search consultants will work with you to determine the right strategy and help you find the executive talent that will both augment what’s working well and identify new opportunities for your organization. Through our Human Resources Advisory services, we can also provide the expertise to develop competitive strategies for recruiting and retaining top talent.

Not certain what kind of nonprofit executive search services you need at this stage in your organization’s growth? Reach out to us and we’ll work with you to determine the right approach.
