LeadVenture, a fast-growing provider of digital storefront, marketing and software tools, has welcomed Amber Ushka as Chief Human Resources Officer. The company worked with Frederickson Partners on the search.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Ushka will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting to CEO Tim MacDonald. As CHRO, Ushka is responsible for building and driving the People and human resources (HR) strategy within LeadVenture to enable the company’s vision for continued global expansion.
Ushka joins LeadVenture from marketplace app Offerup where she was Vice President, Employee Experience. Previously she was Founder and Managing Principal of talent firm Verte Square for over six years, and Vice President of Human Resources at Onvia. She held additional senior HR positions at Corbis, a Bill Gates global media company, and at Microsoft. Ushka earned a B.S. in Business Management and Human Resources from Western Governors University and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Organizational Leadership and Strategic Communication from Gonzaga University. She has certifications from ComptTIA+ and is SCP and SPHR certified by Society for Human Resources (SHRM) and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
