Gowan Company, a global family-owned agricultural solutions business, has appointed Ricky Jordan as Global Head of Human Resources (HR). Gowan Company partnered with Frederickson Partners, a Gallagher Company, on the executive search.
As Global Head of HR, Ricky will lead the HR department, ensuring its alignment with Gowan Company’s values and culture. He will be instrumental in driving key company-wide initiatives, contributing significantly to company growth and success by fostering a highly skilled, motivated, and collaborative workforce. Ricky will report directly to Gowan’s CEO, Juli Jessen.
Ricky joins Gowan after having served as Global Vice President of Human Resources for Summit Polymers. Prior to that, he held various HR leadership roles across the Engineering Construction, and Global Automotive industries. Ricky holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Tarleton State University, a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Organizational Development and Education from Texas State University, and completed Clemson University’s accelerated, Mini-MBA Executive Leadership program.
Gowan specializes in developing, marketing, and manufacturing global agriculture inputs such as crop protection products, seeds, and fertilizers. Gowan began in 1962 as a local crop consultancy business helping growers identify the right crop protection solutions to help their farms thrive.
