Bolt Threads, a company inventing and scaling cutting-edge materials that put our planet on a path towards a more sustainable future, has appointed Erin Momont as Senior Director of People and Talent. Bolt Threads worked with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
In the new position, Momont will develop a comprehensive talent acquisition roadmap that ensures the organization is hiring the right talent needed for sustainable growth. She will build practical people programs to drive total rewards, retention, performance management and development, employee engagement and learning and development to support the employee lifecycle. Momont will report to the General Counsel of the company and will play a key leadership role for Bolt Threads as the company embarks on its next phase of growth.
Momont brings exceptional human resources (HR) expertise to Bolt Threads, having most recently served as Senior Manager of HR at Eventbrite. Her previous roles with the company included HR Business Partner, Interim Head of Talent Acquisition and Senior Talent Manager (North America, EMEA, AU). Earlier in her career, Momont held positions at Google as a Technical Recruiter, at Epic as University Recruiter and at Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa City as Guest Services Director. Momont holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa, with a concentration in Mandarin and Public Relations.
