ActiveCampaign, a platform that allows growing businesses to meaningfully connect and engage with their customers, has appointed Anthony Papini as Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I). ActiveCampaign partnered with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
As Director of DE&I, Papini will lead ActiveCampaign’s transformative commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, with an aim of limiting bias and promoting equality within the company’s workforce. Papini will report to Head of People Denise Bindelglass, and partner with leaders across the organization to understand their needs and find creative and cutting-edge ways to leverage DE&I programs in recruiting, retention, employee engagement, advancement and other key areas of the talent lifecycle.
Papini joins ActiveCampaign from Jamf, where he served as Director of Diversity and Inclusion. His previous executive roles include Senior Manager of Global Diversity and Inclusion, and Engagement and Partnership Manager for Microsoft. He has also held leadership roles in foundations and educational organizations, including Northeastern Illinois University and University of Washington, with his work aimed at creating a more inclusive environment focused on the younger LGBTQ+ community. Papini holds a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel Administration from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Washington University, with emphasis on Educational Leadership and Social Justice Education.
