Jeremy Miller is a Senior Human Resources (HR) Advisor and leads our Total Rewards and Compensation Advisory practice. He has over 25 years of experience designing high impact total rewards philosophies and programs for fast-growth global life sciences and tech companies. Jeremy often supports CEOs, CFOs and CPOs who are new to their organizations to help them prioritize their companies’ cash and equity compensation, benefits and HR technology needs; establish processes and programs; develop their knowledge of comp/benefits/tech philosophies and techniques; and build their relationships with executive teams and boards of directors. He has developed formal compensation philosophies, base compensation structures, benchmarking of jobs to industry-standard salary surveys, benefits program designs, compliance systems and equity plan designs. He has extensive experience with variable pay plans including annual bonuses, commission plans, small-team and large-team incentives, and both stock options and restricted stock units as incentive compensation.
Jeremy has an M.B.A. from the Walter Hass School of Business and a B.A. in Economics, both at University of California at Berkeley, and is both a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). He is currently attending law school part-time and lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife and three kids. Jeremy is also learning Japanese.
