Playvox, Leading Quality Assurance Startup, Welcomes Ismaily Piedra as Vice President, Global People and Culture

Playvox logoPlayvox, a leading provider of omnichannel quality assurance and performance management software for call centers and customer support teams, has hired Ismaily Piedra as Vice President, Global People and Culture. Playvox partnered with Frederickson Partners on the search.

In the new role, Piedra will be based on the East Coast U.S. and report to Founder and CEO Oscar Giraldo. Piedra will help establish all aspects of Playvox’s talent strategy and will develop and lead the overall people and HR functions for the fast-growing startup through its next phase of U.S. and global expansion. Playvox recently raised $25 million to fuel product development and go-to-market activities for its global customer base.

Piedra joins Playvox from consumer electronics startup Magic Leap, where she served as Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), and previously was HR Director at Xerox Corporation, overseeing HR across Latin America for three years. She also held leadership roles at Newell Rubbermaid as a Senior HR Manager and at Discovery Communications, LLC as HRBP. Piedra has an M.S. in HR management from Nova Southeastern University, and a B.S. in business administration and HR management and an A.A. in accounting from Hawaii Pacific University.
